The Region X Head Start Association represents the members in the states of Alaska, Oregon, Washington, and Idaho —both locally and at the national level.

The mission of the Region X Head Start Association is to improve the quality of life for Head Start children, families, and staff by providing training, advocacy, and networking.

This Web site was created to help the association better complete this mission. In order to more effectively provide training, this site will inform members about the annual training conference and link to other state training opportunities. To assist with advocacy, this site will communicate national issues to the states as well as assist with gathering issues from the states and the region to forward to the NHSA. And in order to network with each other, this site can be used by state associations to communicate with their membership and their fellow states.

Region X Head Start Association is an affiliate of the National Head Start Association.
